Dave is a practicing clinical dental hygienist and orofacial myofunctional therapist in Kenmore, Washington.
After many years of connecting with dental patients about periodontal disease, caries, xerostomia, and oral cancer prevention, he fell into the rabbit hole of diseases of the oral motor complex and found that the mouth is actually connected to the rest of the body.
Today he has a thriving myofunctional practice and has focused some of his intense energy into helping ‘newbie’ myofunctional therapists successfully launch their individual practice or incorporate therapy into the dental office.
Dave is an accomplished speaker, mentor, and coach and has been teaching with MyoMentor since 2020. He brings his passion and enthusiasm for health, happiness, and joy everywhere he goes.
Sarah Hornsby
Course Host
Sarah is a myofunctional therapist, educator, and internationally recognized speaker from Carefree, Arizona.
Over the past decade, her practice, Faceology, has transformed from an in-person, conventional myofunctional therapy clinic to an all-online, telehealth practice employing multiple therapists.
She created MyoMentor in 2015 to train and mentor healthcare professionals who want to integrate myofunctional therapy into their practices. Over 700 professionals have graduated from her program since then.
