Dr. Martin Mendelson is a leading speaker and the founder of Metamorphosis Coaching, specializing in team cohesion, communication, and building happier, more productive teams.
Dr. Mendelson turned a devastating medical disablement from his clinical career into a passion for helping leaders through the science of mindset and positivity. He has worked with thousands of North American medical professionals and business leaders to feel less burdened by leadership, empowered to resolve challenges before they grow out of control and create transparent and open cultures where leaders and team members excel, thrive, and love.
Dr. Richard Baxter
DMD, MS
Dr. Baxter is the founder and owner of the Alabama Tongue-Tie Center. He is an internationally-recognized speaker on tongue-ties, instructor of the acclaimed course Tongue-Tied Academy, and author of the best-selling book Tongue-Tied: How a Tiny String Under the Tongue Impacts Nursing, Speech, Feeding, and More.
He is a board-certified pediatric dentist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (FAAPD).
He attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry, graduating at the top of his class. Dr. Baxter attended the residency program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH to receive a specialty certification in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. James Thomas
DDS, MS
Dr. James Thomas founded the health:latch clinic in 2017 with a deep-rooted desire to help families overcome oral & airway health issues.
After treating thousands of children in his first dental practice, Everyone By One, he developed a unique understanding of the struggles patients had with breastfeeding, speech, sleep, breathing and more — caused by oral restrictions like tongue and lip tie.
Seeing firsthand how stressful it can be for families, he created health:latch as a specialty practice dedicated to changing the lives of these patients and their families. Dr. Thomas received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The University of Michigan.
Sarah Hornsby
RDH
Sarah is a myofunctional therapist, educator, and internationally recognized speaker from Carefree, Arizona.
Over the past decade, her practice, Faceology, has transformed from an in-person, conventional myofunctional therapy clinic to an all-online telehealth practice employing multiple therapists.
She created MyoMentor in 2015 to train and mentor healthcare professionals who want to integrate myofunctional therapy into their practices. Over 1,200 professionals have graduated from her program since then.
Dr. Dan Hanson
BDS Dentistry (UK), MBIBH
Dr. Dan Hanson graduated as a dentist from the University of Sheffield Dental School in 2003. Since 2012, all his work has had a myofunctional focus.
In 2012, he qualified as a Breathing Educator with The Buteyko Institute of Breathing and Health (BIBH) soon after he invented Sleepystrip exclusive nasal breathing lip tape.
Dr. Dan is a seasoned educator, having lectured to thousands of health professionals across multiple disciplines all over the world. Locations have included the USA, UK, France, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Japan.
He has co-founded several projects relating to myofunctional work, including Myofocus, The Tongue Tie Institute, and The Myofunctional Space.
Dr. Donny Mandrawa
BDSc (Melbourne) FICOI FPFA FIADFE PGDip Orthodontics Dentofacial Orthopedics (UK)
In 1998, Dr. Donny graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia, as a general dentist.
He pursued further education in the fields of Dentofacial Orthopedics and Orthodontics, Oral Restrictions, and Orofacial Myofunctional Postural Airway.
As an airway centric dentist, he operates two centres in Melbourne, and has now restricted his practice to Early Intervention Orofacial Myofunctional Dentistry, within the scopes of Dentofacial Orthopedics, Orthodontics, Dental Sleep Medicine, and Tethered Oral Tissues.
Since 2014, he has also been lecturing internationally in Indonesia, Japan, Australia, the USA, and Malaysia.
Melissa Mugno
RDH
Melissa is a pioneer of the modern myofunctional and airway-focused movement.
Spending the first part of her career educating and training patients and staff in the offices she was directing, it became clear that there was work to be done in advancing the functional airway movement.
She decided to leave her role in private practice and began the journey of becoming a myofunctional therapist in 2013. Her passion for patient and provider education has allowed her to lecture around the country, bringing her high energy and drive to the field.
Michelle Strange
MSDH, RDH
Michelle brings over twenty years of experience in the dental field, beginning as a dental assistant and earning a bachelor's degree in health science, followed by a master's in dental hygiene education. Her commitment to ongoing education is evident through her pursuit of various certifications, including the Certificate in Dental Infection Prevention and Control.
Michelle's passion for dentistry extends beyond her practice, as demonstrated by her community and global endeavors, which include volunteer work and worldwide missions. Michelle was also a co-founder of the A Tale of Two Hygienists podcast, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing the dental profession through education and collaboration.
Ashley Richards
CEO and Founder E2 Marketing
Ashley is a seasoned marketing executive with over 15 years of experience specializing in digital strategies.
In 2017, Ashley founded E Squared Marketing to provide businesses with creative digital solutions and value. She is known for her fresh perspective and practical leadership style that helps businesses thrive. Ashley and her team of 30 women service over 60 clients nationwide, focusing on social media content creation, ads management, influencer marketing, e-newsletters, and text campaigns.
Ashley also advocates for the working mother, encouraging her team and fellow moms with tips and tricks on navigating the work/life balance while growing a business.
